Carl Barstead, Director
Carl is an owner/operator who is a registered home inspector with both the National Institute of Building Inspectors and the Canadian Association of Home and Property Inspectors, with over 2000 professional home inspections performed since 2001. He is also a Wett Certified Technician, qualified to certify installation of solid fuel burning appliances. Previously, he was a custom homebuilder with a large portfolio of satisfied customers, which he takes great pride in. These years of building experience have provided him with a great knowledge of all aspects of building construction, both residential and commercial. He has also managed a national pest control company, which has provided him with knowledge of pest concerns in our area. Carl has just completed a two-year term as Canadian Advisory Council Member to the North American Housemaster HQ, and is a recognized leader in the home inspection industry on Vancouver Island.

Pat Preston, Certified Inspector
Patrick Preston RHI is a registered home inspector with both the National Institute
of Building Inspectors and the Canadian Association of Home and
Property Inspectors with over 2000 HouseMaster home inspections under
his belt. He is also a Red Seal Journeyman Carpenter and former
building contractor with in-depth knowledge of all the components of a
home. He has trained other home inspectors and is frequently requested
because of his professionalism and excellent communication skills.
