"Thank you again for the house inspection and report. I was somewhat surpised to hear that home inspections for residences under 10 years of age are not usually called for.
Your recommendation that the furnace be repaired resulted in a $300.00 repair for service and a condensate drain, but this is a small price to pay in the scheme of things. The technician pulled out the equivalent of a pop can of water inside the unit. Ths would have resulted in major repairs down the road if not addressed. Oh yes, the furnace is running quite nicely now that the corrective action has been taken.
Furthermore, you precisely pointed out the recall problem on the water heater which in your absence would have gone unnoticed. Why this was overlooked by others is a moot point. And this was a carbon monoxide issue."
